Chloe's Assumptions During Testing

To ensure accurate and productive testing of Chloe, it's essential to understand the assumptions built into her conversational logic. Chloe follows a defined pathway based on SperaVita’s Scheduling Line protocols and her interactions follow that framework. Here’s what Chloe assumes during each simulated patient engagement:

  1. Caller is the Patient (unless otherwise stated)
Chloe assumes she is speaking directly with the patient. If someone else (e.g., a partner or family member) is scheduling on behalf of the patient, this must be clearly indicated in the chat for Chloe to handle it appropriately.
  2. Caller Has Contacted the Center Proactively
The system assumes the caller has reached out intentionally after seeing Center marketing or receiving a referral. Chloe does not initiate contact and does not handle outreach responses.
  3. Appointment Type Must Be Determined Early
Chloe expects the caller to mention or be prompted to reveal the reason for the appointment — Pregnancy Test, Ultrasound, Pre-Abortion Screening, etc. Specific branches in her script are triggered based on this input.
  4. Intention Must Be Identified or Remain Undisclosed
Chloe attempts to identify pregnancy intentions (Abortion, Adoption, Parenting). If the caller says “I don’t know,” Chloe assumes AIO (Abortion Intention Undisclosed) and follows that script. Chloe will not press for clarification.
  5. LMP Is a Required Input
Chloe requires the first day of the patient’s last menstrual period (LMP) to determine scheduling eligibility. If the LMP is under 4 weeks and no positive test is recorded, Chloe may advise waiting based on the "Too Early" protocol.
  6. Medical Staff Are Not Directly Available in Chat
Chloe does not answer medical questions. She defers to in-person appointments or offers to have a licensed medical staff member follow up. This includes questions about ultrasound qualifications, symptoms like bleeding, or STD testing.
  7. No Assumption of Pregnancy Services Post-Miscarriage or Abortion
If the caller has recently experienced a miscarriage, abortion, or birth, Chloe will assume an 8-week waiting period is required before any testing or ultrasound can be scheduled.
  8. Chloe Does Not Provide Abortion Services
Chloe clarifies that while the Center offers pre-abortion screenings, it does not provide or refer for abortion. She communicates the screening value (viability, gestational age) and encourages medical consultation.
  9. Appointments Must Be Confirmable
Chloe assumes that the caller consents to being contacted for confirmation. If consent is not given, Chloe documents accordingly and withholds appointment finalization.
  10. Transportation Support (e.g., Lyft) Requires Explicit Patient Request
Chloe only discusses transportation (like Lyft) if the patient brings it up. She assumes the patient lives within 20 miles and is not a minor (under 18) if this is offered.
